On the Paparoa Track in February of 2021 |
There is one tramping track slatted to become a Great Walk sometime between 2021 and 2022. This is:
Humpridge Track, 67 km, 3-4 days, South Island
Te Waewae Bay is visible from high on the Humpridge Track |
More tracks may be added to the Great Walk roster at some stage but there was a 33 year gap between the Kepler Track (1987) and the Paparoa Track (2020) so nothing is guaranteed.
